The FIA has confirmed a raft of energy changes for the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa. Five Straight Mode zones will be introduced, the highest number since the season opener in Australia. Overtake Mode, similar to the old DRS, will be available on the start/finish straight, giving a power boost when a driver is within one second of the car ahead. The changes are a direct response to Spa's brutal energy demands, which Fernando Alonso says leave the 2026 cars with "significantly less power than last year and less power than F2" once deployment runs dry. 📸📰 via PlanetF1 #F1 #BelgianGP #FIA
